After a month-long epic battle, Alien pulled ahead (by a LOT) to win the coveted spot of Favorite Classic Monster!
I’m pretty happy with the results of this bracket. (I would’ve been happier if it would’ve been a creature from a black-and-white movie, but those all got knocked out early on. Do you guys not watch classic horror?! But I digress…)
Alien is indeed one of the scariest monsters out there. It’s parasitic and its motivation is purely to breed. There’s no reasoning with it and it has very few weaknesses. Alien hits all the key elements of a truly terrifying monster!
Thanks to everyone who participated! I had a lot of fun seeing the results of this poll and was impressed with the level of engagement. I’m thinking of making it a yearly thing, though I’ll find a bracket that doesn’t embed so weird on my site next time 😉
