Happy New Year!

Yeah. I’m late. What of it?

Maybe I should’ve made a resolution to stop procrastinating. Maybe next year.

In true Sarah fashion, I’ve already fallen off the wagon on pretty much every “New year, new me” goal I set. ‘Goal’ sounded better than ‘resolution’, I thought. Turns out it’s crap to change yourself no matter what vocabulary you use.

(How are you doing? What kind of idiotic things did you decide to torture yourself with this year? Let me know in the comments!)

So I’m starting over now. January 15th is the first day of my new year. And a new, even more badass me. (It’ll work this time, right? RIGHT?!) Speaking of badass women, I have a couple of new releases for you to feast your eyes on:

MY FIRST AUSTRALIAN PUBLICATION!

I’m now torturing another continent and I couldn’t be happier.

COLP: A LITTLE BIT OF NONSENSE is full of just that: nonsense. Inside are twenty-nine short stories that are just weird enough to not fit in any other publication.

An excerpt from my short, “Pens and Papers”:

“Is something wrong, Glory?”

“Just scribbles,” she managed to say. The agitation was rising. Things began to hum. The pen perched on the file, that beautiful pen, began whispering.

It was just like before. Before she came here, when she was still free, and her mother wasn’t lying in a growing pool of sticky scarlet.

My first editing gig!

I love Greek mythology and always have. What I don’t love about it is the tendency to portray women as weak, dumb, or the root of all evil.

Enter CURSE OF THE GODS. The women here have their power back.

Was Persephone kidnapped by Hades, the God of the Underworld, or did she go willingly? Was Medusa really the heartless beast everyone imagines her to be? Is Aphrodite a carefree goddess filled with love and happiness or does she long for something more?

Experience some of the classic Greek myths like you never have before, re-imagined and brought to life by these 18 talented authors!
